There will be a meet and greet on Tuesday, September 6th from 2-3pm. This will be a time for students to drop off school supplies, see their new classroom, and meet their new teacher.
Valley Inquiry has an opening for the upcoming school year in the 3rd grade classroom. If you or someone you know is interested, come by the school and get an application. For more information, please call the office at 503.399.3150

We are in need of volunteers from 12-3 on the last day of school for field day (June 14th). There is a sign up sheet in the main office. Please stop by and sign up for an event. Please keep in mind, in order to participate in field day, you must have a current background check on file with the school district. If you are unsure if you do, please contact Sarah in the office.
This coming board meeting has had a location change. The meeting will not be at Valley Inquiry. It will be at the following location:

Pajama Day will be on Friday, June 3rd. Students are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas, as long as they follow district and school dress code. Included in pajama day, all staff and students will stop that they are doing from 9:30am-10:00am to read.

December 9th when all our students Kindergarten through 5th grade will perform at the Winter Concert. The concert is one of our best attended activities that we have. For this reason we have the concert at Adam Stephens Middle School to be able to accommodate all families. (Please read Mrs. Parks Music notes on this newsletter.)
At this wonderful concert, our PTC hosts our annual Winter Raffle & Auction. Each adult in attendance will get a free ticket to win door prizes, for $5 you can buy raffle ticket for a chance to win amazing items, and lastly, you can bid at our silent auction as well! These funds help our PTC support the needs of our great school. Hope to see you there. The flier is attached.
