We are gathering a team of enthusiastic, creative, and talented volunteers to help out at our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair, and I would like to invite you to help out.
Please take a moment to view our sign-up sheet to see what roles interest you. Spread the word to your friends and invite them to help us have the best Book Fair ever!
The book fair is coming up October 17-21. The book fair will be open before school from 815-845, and students need a note from parents to attend before school. It will also be after school from 3-330 and parents must be present with students at that time.
Each year, students in grades three through eight and grade 11 take state tests in English language arts and math. Students in grades five, eight and in high school also take a state science test. The tests measure students’ knowledge of state standards and give the state information about how schools are performing. Information from the Oregon Department of Education regarding parents’ right to opt students out of some state testing is available online. Picture day is Tuesday, September 20th. Picture packets will be sent home this week.
